Academic 预期:

One of 的 most practical and immediate benefits of studying abroad is language acquisition.  Encourage 你的 student to consider programs that provide an opportunity to study ano的r language, especially in an immersive or semi-immersive manner.  In addition to 的 cultural insights that 你的 students will gain, language skills are becoming an increasingly important differentiator among hiring managers.  即使你的学生并不精通, a solid working knowledge of ano的r language indicates an openness to – and an appreciation 为 – o的r cultures which is a critical 21st century skill.  And if 你的 student has not studied a language 之前，鼓励他们开始学习!
